Trevi Update
Tuesday evening, January 19th, the Planning Commission voted 3-1 to revoke Trevi Entertainment Center's Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to hold nightly entertainment.
Commissioners Zanelli, Mendoza and Flores voted for revocation. Commissioner Gonzalez recused himself from the vote due to having a family member employed by Trevi, and Commissioner O'Neal voted against revocation.
The bowling alley, rooms for rent for parties such as birthdays, showers, wedding reception, etc. are not effected by the revocation.

Nice job planning commission! Jimmy Flores just got my vote in the recall election. =)
Can the Trevi guy get Planning commissioner's recalled too? After next month, who will be the next council member with a target? Maybe instead of entertainment, Trevi can host Medical Potsmoker's Anonymous meetings, seems Elsinore has a need for that.
RE: Mr. Knight(Trevi)
Temecula pulled the plug on Mr. Knights video arcade this past November. He would not abide by the rules...hummmmm Very Interesting! I back our planning commission all the way!!!!
So you see, it is just not Lake Elsinore. Temecula has the same concerns...
Mr Knight is either very arrogant or just plain stupid to spend all that time and money to create a beautiful business and then blow it all by not playing by the rules, not a very smart business man. Also I just was wondering if anyone else noticed that all of the arcade games are in Japanese and it states that they are not allowed in the USA, any comments???
This looks so bad for the City. If you were at the meeting you would have seen Flores has taken money from Knight.
Ask the "Good old Boys" from San Jacinto City what it is like in Jail.
Flores clearly had a money conflict. I hope he likes the color orange.
I prey The City Council makes it right
First of all I would like to say thank you for the post on Mr. Knights arrogance...Very good points in that post....
Regarding the last post about Flores....I have noticed that certain people in this city like to make statements like this all the time. I would like you to back that up with real data and not just what you think you see in someones expression or mannerism. Not a good judgment call. Its an easy excuse for people, especially when you don't care for someone, which is apparent. Looks like you now have it out for Flores.
Lake Elsinore does not even compare to San Jacinto in wrong doings.
Mr. Knight deserves what he got. He has not done what he is suppose to do and again I remind you, also in Temecula. The City closed him down.
I hope the city council stands behind their planning commission, Mr. Knight is wrong...
I would like to say that I think Trevi is a great place for the city.
Trevi has every right to take the proper actions to defend themselves. I hope more business owners to stand up and take action against the city to make Lake Elsinore a better place to be.
How much money is Mr Knight going to cost the city in frivolous lawsuits and recall elections?? It infuriates me that this man is costing our city so much money during such a difficult time! Mr. Manos has made a deal with the devil. He should've just waited until November and run a clean campaign. His reputation is tarnished in the eyes of a lot of the voters because of his affiliation with Mr Knight. Who is Mr. Knight going to go after next??
I give the owner of Trevi HUGE props he is doing what he needs to do to save his business i wish more people in the city would grow a backbone and stand up for themselves.
We should do what Temecula did. Get rid of him. He has caused nothing but problems and wasted your money.
Lake Elsinore has wasted time and money on this man. He has quite a history of not paying debt, not paying employees, not paying his bills, and that is not the cities fault and we don't need someone like him in our city. Why isn't he suing Temecula for the issues that closed his business? He is out to get Lake Elsinore and that is so obvious.
Most parents of teenagers in towm will not allow their kids to go to Trevi at night....all this mess going on just seals that for sure.
Why hasn't some of the Trevi issues gone before the Public Safety Advisory Commission...as a parent who won't let their teens go there because of safety issues - I would think that safety bottom line would be at the core of all this...perhaps I am wrong.
Personally - I am tired of all the finger pointing - name calling - recalling - property raiding activity these past months...let's just get a safe place for the kids of LE to hang out at and in the process, build back UP (not down) our city.
We need to rally up for a Johns Incrediable Pizza Co. Next time the city ok's a lic./permit please consider who you are giving this to. Have you been inside Trevi - bowling and selling bathroom sinks ok this is a good mix of family fun!
Mr. Knight is not paying his bills therefore the lender is taking assets. Let them take them. This isn't because of Lake Elsinore. And again, why doesn't he go after Temecula.....They closed his arcade located there....Because Temecula would win hands down.
He has had many lawsuits against him dating back several years.
He has borrowed money personally from people and not repaid them and doesn't plan to. He will find excuses, as he is doing.
What a nice business person. Let them take the sinks, toilets and bowling balls. HE OWES PEOPLE MONEY!!!!!
We can all look forward to another abandoned building in LE. Murrieta, Corona, Menifee and Temecula are looking better and better all the time :)
I have a question to all of you who are favoring live entertainment at the bowling alley. What would you have done if your child was at one of these gigs and the building burnt down and your child could not get out because of code violations, i.e. padlocked doors, or there was a shooting and your child got shot. You would be the first to sue because the city did not do their job.
The bowling alley business isn't the issue, its the live entertainment part of the establishment. That is what this is all about. I again remind you that Temecula got rid of him!!!! and it was because of code violations and safety issues that he would not fix. He won't go after Temecula because they are to big of a city to contend with, he would rather go after LE because we are a small community.
The recall results were AWESOME!!! I can't wait until Michel Knight is gone!!!. Hey Michel, take Steve Manos and Mike O'Neal, and Daryl Hickman with you since they love you so much! Thank goodness for email lists and being able to inform people of the kind of pigs Knight and Manos are. Naked dancing women and pot, what a great combination. Sorry Steve, why don't you and Wayne Williams treat Michel to some doobies at the MJ dispensary on Grand. That way you'll still be losers, but you won't care about it. Don't forget the Doritos for when you get the munchies.
Wowwwwww, how embarrassing for all of this that live in this town to be a part of this. As if LE doesn't have a bad enough reputation we now have the Buckley/Knight scandal plastered all over newspapers, the internet and radio stations. I am embarrassed to tell people I live in this town. And to the last poster, there isn't any MJ dispensary on Grand? Buckley, I hope this is a lesson to you to clean up your act, stop drinking and driving and hanging out at the local pubs drunk, you are embarrassing all on your own that you represent any of us in this town and you will now be under a magnifying glass!! As for Knight, good riddens I am so tired of hearing about it!!!
