Help, I've Fallen and I Can't Get Up
I feel the need to start with a joke...
As the storm raged, the captain realized his ship was sinking fast. He called out, "Anyone here know how to pray?"
One man stepped forward. "Aye, Captain, I know how to pray."
"Good," said the captain, "you pray while the rest of us put on our life jackets -we're one short."
The moral of the story, BE PREPARED. Community Emergency Response Training (CERT) is offered here in Lake Elsinore. This is INVALUABLE training to have in the event of an emergency.
If "the big one" hits, are you prepared to take care of your family? Or will you be one life jacket short?
CERT training is free to the participants. The cost to run the course is funded by grants that we receive from the Department of Homeland Security.
CERT is a 20 hour course that includes training in Fire Suppression, Search and Rescue, and Basic First Aid.

There is not power or water to the house-and don't understand why the people stay there but they do ??? any help are they trepassing ? what can be done if anything ? thanks-
One husband and wife team just signed up for the Dec. training. Thanks for the info.
For the foreclosed home problem, please email me with more details, ie: address, timeframe, etc. If you look at the top right side of this page, there is a Contact Melissa link. Click on that to email me okay?
Husband and wife team, I LIKE IT!!
Just wondering what's going on with the Summerly developement. I read that the builder filled chapter 11. Is another builder taking over? It's been stagnant for a while.....
Summerly...another builder will no doubt purchase the property, but no one has purchased it yet. The portion of Laing Homes that owned that property did go bankrupt, but not the whole company. It's bank owned right now so it will take some time for the bank to sort out the mess. I'm told the golf course is not in jeopardy, so if you're a golfer that good news right?
When I hear any news about some movement in that area, I will definitely let everyone know.
